Bo Moore writes on Gods will be watching: “You have limited time, limited resources, and the odds are stacked heavily against you. The only way to win is by making terrible, impossible decisions, to do what must be done in order to survive. … I tried to play Gods Will Be Watching with a shred of morality, to care about the decisions I made, but its difficulty made me more angry at the game itself than upset about the choices I had to make. I wanted to care about the men I had to sacrifice, or the men I lost, but I ended up not caring at all. I just wanted it to be over.”
