Gabe Munz writes about the usefulness of Google’s Project Tango: “it’s true that Project Tango is the most suitable option when it comes to mapping locations, but it cannot be used for developing 3D models for small and medium objects due to its low resolution. For example, people cannot use this Google application for developing a 3D model for a cup after scanning it. But at the same time it is very helpful, for personalising a 3D map for a shop for effectively locating different products.”
